Nkebet Mesele is a globally recognised business executive with over two decades of expertise in banking, payments, and financial technology. As the Founder and CEO of Intreensic, she is dedicated to bridging the talent and knowledge gap in the payments industry through expert-led training, strategic advisory, and talent resourcing.

Before founding Intreensic, Nkebet led Visa’s Solutions Delivery and Mobile Strategy across Sub-Saharan Africa, where she played a pivotal role in shaping the region’s payments landscape. She successfully spearheaded the launch of Push Payments in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and South Africa—transforming cross-border transactions and financial inclusion. Her ability to forge strategic partnerships with fintech leaders such as Flutterwave, Paystack (Nigeria), Weblogy (Côte d’Ivoire), and ExpressPay (Ghana) solidified Visa’s digital expansion across Africa.
Prior to Visa, she served as Head of e-business Implementation at GTBank Plc, driving innovation by developing new digital products, providing ebusiness advisory services, and leading training initiatives across the bank’s subsidiaries. Nkebet’s problem-solving acumen led to the development of cutting-edge financial solutions, including the GTWorld app. Her exceptional leadership and visionary approach have earned her multiple awards for innovation and industry impact.
Nkebet holds a degree in Social Sciences and a Postgraduate in Innovation and Design Thinking from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where she refined her expertise in creating customer-centric, value-driven solutions. With a bold vision to unlock a $30 billion opportunity in fintech, she continues to drive industry-wide transformation, positioning Intreensic as a powerhouse in payments education, consulting, and talent development.
