Olajide Farinre is an accomplished Operations Executive with over 25 years’ experience in the upstream energy industry. He is currently Executive Director and Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) at Amni International, having previously held senior management roles at ExxonMobil affiliates in Nigeria and Houston, USA. His extensive career includes roles in operations leadership, production, facilities engineering, and project management.
Olajide holds a BSc in Electrical/Electronics Engineering from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He has also completed executive programs at INSEAD, (Fontainebleau, France), Thunderbird School of Global Management (Arizona, USA) and MIT (Massachusetts, USA).
Olajide is a member of several professional organisations, including the Nigerian Society of Engineers, the Society of Petroleum Engineers, and the International Society of Automation (ISA). Olajide is a Past-President of the Houston Metro Branch of the Great Ife Alumni Association USA Inc, where he served from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Olajide serves as a Board Member of Linking Hands Foundation, a Nigerian registered NGO with a vision to equip today’s children to become tomorrow’s leaders through a three-pronged approach of solid education, sound health and strong values. Olajide’s hobbies include reading, golf, table-tennis and active mentoring.
He is widely respected for his leadership and dedication to his profession and community.
